Suzanne & Stephen welcome you to Tinhay Mill
Our quaint cottage has a cosy and relaxing atmosphere which we find helps our guests to unwind. Previously two
16th century mill cottages, this special old house with its beamed ceilings and open fire places has plenty of
timeless charm.
Ideally located on the Devon and Cornwall border for exploring historical landmarks, rugged coasts and
the natural beauty of the West Country. Sandwiched between Dartmoor and Bodmin Moor with the North Coast
just a 30 minute drive away will ensure there's always plenty to enjoy from Port Issac
(Doc Martin country), Boscastle, and the famous King Arthur's ruins at Tintagel to the Eden Project.
Tinhay lies between the historic towns of Okehampton, Tavistock with Buckland Abbey, (Sir Francis Drake's
birthplace) and just across the River Tamar into Cornwall, Launceston, a quaint market town with its museum
and Norman castle.
Whether you're holidaying in the West Country, fishing the many rivers available or on business, Tinhay is
the ideal location and setting from which to start your day.
